OPEN REGISTRATION STARTS JAN 11 TH 2014

OUR ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL START JANUARY 18TH 2014 - WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE WORKS TO OFFER EASIER OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILIES TO REGISTER THEIR CHILD FOR FOOTBALL. ONE OF THE ITEMS IS WE ARE ABLE TO DO CREDIT CARD PROCESSING AT THE IN-PERSON REGISTRATION.

2014 SEASON REGISTRATION DATES!! March 11 2014 6-630 pm - registration is being held at our storage Building at 1248 Lang ST Unit 2- There is a map on our home page with a link to the location.
• 
The West Bend Youth Football Program is open to all incoming 5th through 8th Grade students that reside within the West Bend High School District area for the 2014 school year.
• 
Registration is held annually in late January/early February. Announcements can be found in the local newpaper and flyers are handed out to schools as well as the school email.
• 
Please bring all pertinent information to the sign-up - Participant's Birth Certificate, Oldest Sibling's Birth Certificate, and registration fee. ALL FORMS NEED TO BE SIGNED BY PARENT AND ATHLETE THAT REQUIRE A SIGNITURE. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Proof of residency may be required.

Online registration forms will be available NOW. PLEASE NOTE: entering your athlete's information online does not mean he/she is registered. You still need to bring the signed forms and fees to our open registration sessions.

REGISTRATION FEES FOR 2014

• 
$175 FOR THE FIRST PARTICIPANT There will be a 5.00 credit card processing fee added to all credit card transactions for registration
• 
$125 FOR THE SECOND AND $50.00 for 3rd PARTICIPANT FROM THE SAME FAMILY
• 
ALL MEMEBRS AFTER 3 FROM THE SAME FAMILY ARE FREE ***WE WILL MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS WITH THOSE FAMILIES NOT ABLE TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT AT ONE TIME***
• 
LATE SIGNUP FEE. A $50 FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR REGISTRATIONS MADE AFTER THE FEBRUARY SIGN UPDATE
• 
A $300 (per player) equipment deposit will be due upon equipment pickup in July. Checks will be returned upon return of the player's equipment at the end of the football season. This deposit is NOT due at registration time. THE CHECK WILL NOT BE DEPOSITED UNLESS THERE IS MISSING OR DAMAGED EQUIPMENT

"Refer A Friend Program"

This incentive is for all players refering a new player to the 6th,7th and 8th grade level. Incoming 5th graders are not eligible for the rebate unless they refer a 6th, 7th or 8th grade player -
• 
The rules of this incentive are as follows : both players need to be on the active roster at the end of the season to be eligible - if one or both players quit the team or stop coming to practices or games they will be considered as quitting.

Registration Boundaries

East Boundary: ** If child has an EVEN birthdate, he/she will attend EAST. ** If child was born on 1/31, 3/31, 5/31 They will attend EAST. ** Children will attend the same high school as their older siblings.
• 
West Boundary: ** If child has an ODD birthdate, he/she will attend WEST. ** If child was born on 7/31, 8/31, 10/31, 12/31 They will attend WEST. ** Children will attend the same high school as their older siblings.

TEAM SIZE REQUIREMENTS

IT IS ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER EARLY - BY DOING SO, IF WE SEE WE HAVE A TEAM THAT IS GETTING A LOT OF PLAYERS WE AS AN ORGANIZATION CAN APPLY FOR A 2ND TEAM AT THAT LEVEL. HOWEVER JUST BECAUSE WE APPLIED FOR A EXPANSION, WE ARE NOT GUARANTEED IT. OUR LEAGUE GRANTS EXPANSIONS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS AND ONLY ACCEPT EXPANSIONS IF THE NUMBER OF TEAMS AT THAT LEVEL ARE AN EVEN NUMBER. IN OUR LEAGUE WE HAVE 44 SCHOOLS AND IF 3 SCHOOLS APPLY FOR EXPANSION THAT WOULD BE 47 TEAMS WHICH IS A ODD NUMBER AND THE LAST TEAM TO APPLY WOULD BE DENIED BASED ON THE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE RULE. THE ONLY WAY THE ODD TEAM WOULD BE APPROVED FOR EXPANTION WOULD BE IF ANOTHER TEAM CAME AND APPLIED.

SO IF OUR NUMBERS JUSTIFY AN EXPANSION, WE WILL APPLY FOR IT. AFTER THE FEB. OPEN REGISTRATION PERIOD TEAMS WILL BE CLOSED THAT HAVE MORE THAN 35 PLAYERS REGISTERED.

HELP WANTED / VOLUNTEERS

EVERY YEAR WE STRUGGLE TO FIND VOLUNTEERS TO HELP THE ORGANIZATION. AREAS WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR ARE ASSISTANT COACHES, CHAIN GANG HELP,TEAM MANAGERS,TEAM VIDEOGRAPHERS, GAME DAY ANNOUNCERS AND CLOCK OPERATORS. IF THERE IS AN AREA THAT YOU FEEL YOU COULD HELP THE ORGANIZATION OUT PLEASE SPEAK TO THE YOUTH DIRECTORS AT THE REGISTRATION OR EMAIL THEM DIRECTLY. IT TAKES MANY VOLUNTEERS TO CONTINUE TO BE A GREAT ORGANIZATION AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.
